Gurramkonda has carried centuries of stories through its fort walls, old streets, places of worship, monuments, memories and the lives of generations who called this town home.
Our commitment is to find those stories, document them with care and preserve them before they are lost to time.
We may not be able to bring the past back — but we can make sure it is not forgotten.
Antique Gurramkonda exists so that one day, when the generations after us ask what this town once was, its history will still be here for them to discover.
Because a town that remembers its past gives its future something to belong to.
Every temple, mosque, tomb, fort, street, tradition and memory that forms part of Gurramkonda's documented heritage is approached with the same respect and care.

Antique Gurramkonda was founded by Shahid Nawab, a native of Gurramkonda, as a non-profit digital heritage initiative dedicated to preserving and sharing the town’s history, monuments, oral traditions and cultural memory for future generations.
The initiative began as the Antique Gurramkonda Instagram page and later expanded into a digital heritage archive.
The concept, design and development of gurramkonda.com are by Shahid Nawab. Shahid Nawab is also the founder of H9 Tech. Antique Gurramkonda and H9 Tech are separate initiatives connected by the same founder. H9 Tech does not own Antique Gurramkonda.
FOUNDER'S VISION
To preserve the history of our town for future generations, so that the stories, monuments and memories of Gurramkonda are not forgotten.
My hope is that one day Gurramkonda receives the recognition its heritage deserves and grows as a respected heritage and tourism destination.
